British drivers on Menorca

study on the driving of Britons on Menorca has identified eight black spots on local roads and shown that T and Y shaped junctions and left turns are the most dangerous manoeuvres.

During the high season hire cars cause more accidents than others, and the study, published in Menorca.info, shows that a British driver has involved in 12.2% of all the accidents on the island.

That compares to the fact that only 3.6% of the population of Menorca is British, thus indicating the problem is one of tourist drivers
